PKF – Prague Philharmonia will present itself under the baton of the young, but internationally respected Polish conductor Dawid Runtz accompanying the French soloist Camille Thomas, one of the holders of the New Talent – SPP Foundation Award (2014), a UNESCO international competition of young performers. An attractive programme consisting of works by the composers of German Romanticism (Mendelssohn, Schumann) is supple- mented with a graceful overture Allegro sinfonico by Ľudovít Rajter from 1988. This performance accomplishes the ambition of the BMF organizers to encourage foreign orchestras to perform works by Slovak composers.
