The ensemble Bratislava Wind Octet assembled from the leaders of wind sections of the Slovak Philharmonic, Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra and SNT Orchestra, will celebrate half a century from its establishment this year. The offered programme comprises works by 18th-century composers from the Danubian region preceded by Ilja Zeljenka’s Octet in three move- ments from 1999.
